I thought that we harvested old people for whatever organs hadn't decayed to the point of uselessness…no?

Ya, we do that also and sell them as "refurbished" for 60% of the new part value.
But by sending them on the ice flows, they attract the sharks away from the people swimming on the beaches in Florida. We call that "intentional chumming"

So, 60% refurbished parts, 40% ice flow? Is this one of those win, win situation?

Ruined a beautiful Newfoundlander tradition by picking through all of it’s
gory details.
Truth is, the sharks don’t really care for popsicles. Organ harvesting without permission
is illegal in Canada and the US. The ice helps preserve the organs. When the flows reach
Cuba, the organs are removed and packed in dry ice, laced with cocaine, and sold on the
black market. The refurbished parts are only worth 60%, but the added value allows the
Cubans to retain their profit margins.
