"Hello Susan; In Canada there is a university in Nova Scotia I believe and it is referred to as "Dal HOW zee" On the other hand there is a town in Ontario on the south shore of Lake Ontario across from Toronto named Port Dalhousie...and Ive never heard it referred to as anything but "Port Dal OOO zie"
