I've made peace with those who hurt me, I've forgiven each and all,
I can smile at daily hardships, I get up after I fall,
I give shoulder to the weaker, those who fail and those who faint,
I'm a paragon of mercy, I am practically a saint,
But it all comes tumbling down with a summer torrent's pace
As I look into the mirror and observe my mother's face.
